Hamilton Yoga Classes

Wednesday Community - Breathe & Flow

Wednesday Evenings - 6-7pm

Class Venue: The Link, 4 Te Aroha Street, Hamilton East
What to bring: A yoga mat if you have one. Socks and a warm layer are recommended in cooler months. You’re most welcome to bring any of your own props, however we have plenty! (Blocks, straps, Massage balls, and a few spare mats)

These classes are a holistic integration of person-centred movement, breath, and mindfulness to support all facets of wellbeing; Physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual. Our community is a down to earth bunch of real people of all ages, genders and bodies who support and treat each-other with kindness and compassion i.e. a home away from home (without the dishes!).

EVERYONE is welcome! P.S You don’t have to be flexible or have good balance.

A typical class looks like: restorative breathing, somatic (body centred) & mindful movement, realistic and simple meditation, and deep integrated rest. And of course with lots of sprinkled wisdom from various theories & cultures and ancient teachings including: The yoga sutras of Patangali, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and modern day neuro and movement science.

All classes are Trauma-Informed, non-fear based, and invitational i.e. you only partake in what feels true and good for you, this can change over time too. We hold space for your humility and recognise and are sensitive to the many wounds we all carry. All parts of you are welcome here and we aim to create a safe a nurturing space for you to be present with yourself.
