Studio & Business Conduct Disclaimer

(Please read carefully)

At Maarama Wellness Studio, we are committed to fostering a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for all students, clients, and business associates. We have a zero-tolerance policy for workplace bullying, harassment, defamation, slander, or any form of abusive or harmful behavior—whether in person, online, or through third parties. We reserve the right to refuse service or terminate any professional relationship if we believe that an individual’s conduct is inappropriate, disrespectful, or damaging to our reputation and the well-being of our community. Any instances of bullying, defamation, or slander may result in legal action to protect our business, fellow students, and professional integrity.

By engaging with our services, you agree to uphold a standard of mutual respect and professionalism. Thank you for supporting a positive and inclusive space for all.

Scope of Work

Maarama Wellness Studio serves as ONLY a guide to supporting physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing through Yoga, Breathing & Mindfulness. We use the model of Te Whare Tapa Whaa as our principle framework to deliver a trauma-sensitive and inclusive approach. The services that we offer are NOT to replace professional Mental or Health advice. We always advise that along with our services, you seek advice from Registered Health Professionals.

We have the right to accept or deny any professional relationship and base this on whether we possess the tools to support and help our participants. Meaning, we only take on clients/students who we genuinely feel we can support and help. This both ensures a high standard of care for each participant and keeps our services within our scope of work. Our scope of work is purely to aid or support opposed to being a prescriptive guide to health and wellbeing. By engaging in our services, you acknowledge we are only a guide and The Client (You) AND/OR The Service Provider (Maarama Wellness Studio) can decide at any time to dis-engage in services if the standard of service becomes compromised.

If you require further support for either Mental, Emotional, or Physical Health we have included a list of resources and contacts below that will help guide you to source the help that you deserve.
